I contacted Edward at Oxfordshire Roofing and Building Services after a glowing recommendation from a friend. I had originally contacted others who were “too busy”, or seemed to be charging rates which looked expensive, and took weeks to get back in touch with me or failed to give me any sort of timescale for completing the work that I felt confident in trusting. After I had messaged Edward, he phoned me back immediately for a discussion of the issues and to discuss the pictures of the roofing problems I had sent him. Within 24 hours he’d popped around to look at the problems for himself, but he also identified some other issues. The price agreed was competitive, indeed better value for money than other quotes I’d had before contacting Edward. He showed a great knowledge of the industry, identifying the exact age of the tiles (which matched the date I knew the house was built) and the origin of the tiles. He is both polite and helped offer advice on how I could tackle other issues with the house myself. The work was done within 48 hours of me contacting him, although I may have had some luck there as this was ahead of schedule, and Edward always kept me informed of progress. The final price was as we had originally agreed, despite me adding on a few other small tasks not part of the original agreed quotation. The area around the house was left very clean and tidy, in fact tidier than before he came – and his team even rolled-up our hosepipe that we had originally (embarrassingly) just flung down the side of the house! We are very happy with all of the work, and we have no hesitation in recommending him and his team to others. A very professional job. I only wish I’d asked the friend for a recommendation at the start.

I gave Edward a call regarding the repair of a few slightly dislodged tiles on the roof of my house in Didcot. He and his colleague were able to come over the same day and the roof was repaired within less than an hour. They gave me a very fair price and a lot of helpful advice on the condition of the roof and quality of the tiles. I am really happy with the service and highly recommend Oxfordshire Roofing & Building Services to others.

Edward and his team did an absolutely brilliant job repairing two holes in our roof. He was extremely responsive and came out to do the repair job only a few days after he quoted us for the work. His quote was very fair and competitive. Edward and his team take great pride in their work and go the extra distance to make sure the job is done properly. I would certainly use his services again and would recommend him to anyone requiring roofing services in the Oxford area.

I phoned Edward to discuss repairs and maintenance to the roof of my house that I have owned for 28 years from new as I saw this company was highly regarded and rated from previous reviews online. I wanted to be sure that the work would be carried out to the highest quality and that I could trust Edward and his team to carry out the work on my house. In fact I needn't have worried as he and his team treated my family and I with the utmost courtesy and respect. The work was completed on time, at the agreed estimate and of the highest quality. Edward recommended further work to ensure the house was protected for at least another 28 years. After the work was completed, I couldn't have been more impressed by the amount of enthusiastic and passion he and his team showed to my house as I did.
